Stop the Installation Process in order to Install Successfully

In order to install successfully, you must stop the installation process now.

Thanks, Microsoft, now I know how to install .Net framework 3.5 SP1 already.

Obviously the word "Beta" hasn't really been defined properly for you. Microsoft, like any other company, produces software designed by fallable humans. I suggest you design your own software and give it a whirl. Or just use NON-BETA code. Hrmmmmm?

You didn't happen to have 2 instances of the install running, did you? I installed it yesterday without issue.

No, I didn't. There was only 1 installer instance. And that's something funny :)

Happened to me too...in my case CLR Profiler was registered. I had to unregister the CLRProfiler and then reboot the machine. Reinstalling worked then.
